Biography

Dr Miguel Mercado Rey, M.D. is a distinguished Otolaryngologist and Principal Professor at the Faculty of Human Medicine of the Peruvian University Los Andes. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and brings extensive experience across clinical practice, academia, administration, teaching, and research. Dr. Mercado Rey has also contributed significantly to the evaluation and development of standards for the accreditation and licensing of Human Medicine programs, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and the continuous improvement of medical education.
