Biography

Dr. Maryam Alshamsi is a third-year Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery resident at Dubai Health institute in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a passion for pediatric ENT, head and neck surgery, and rhinology. She loves being in the OR and thrives on hands-on learning through simulation labs and practice-based teaching.

Beyond surgery, Dr. Maryam enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and junior residents, sharing her enthusiasm for ENT through interactive learning and bedside guidance. Her research

interests focus on improving care and outcomes for patients, while exploring innovative approaches in surgical education.

Curious, collaborative, and dedicated, she aims to build a career that blends clinical practice, research, and education in an evidence-based manner to help advance ENT care.
