Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) is a specialized surgical field treating conditions of the mouth, jaws, face, and neck, ranging from wisdom teeth extraction and dental implants to reconstructive surgery, facial trauma (fractures), jaw alignment (orthognathic) surgery, cleft lip/palate, and head and neck cancer reconstruction.
