Biography

Dr Haiyang Zhang is a Resident Physician and Doctoral Candidate at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, studying under Professor Yan Zhanfeng. Specializing in otolaryngology, Dr. Zhang focuses on integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into the treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. Her primary research investigates the clinical efficacy and underlying mechanisms of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in managing allergic rhinitis. Specifically, her work explores the neuro-immuno-endocrine regulatory network modulated by acupuncture in allergic rhinitis patients. She has published her research findings in several prominent academic journals. Dedicated to evidence-based practice, Dr. Zhang aims to bridge traditional healing practices with modern medical research to advance global otolaryngological care.
