Biography

Dr Yanru Peng is a Resident Physician at Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She actively conducts clinical and foundational research in otolaryngology, specializing in the integrative approach of Traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Her work focuses on the TCM-based management of allergic rhinitis, tinnitus, hearing loss, and laryngopharyngeal reflux disease. Proficient in combining classical herbal formulations with external therapeutic techniques, she is dedicated to enhancing patient symptom relief, with her clinical outcomes receiving recognition from both peers and patients. In research, Dr. Peng has served as a key contributor to multiple provincial- and ministerial-level projects. Her work primarily involves patient recruitment, data collection, and analysis in clinical studies. She is committed to advancing evidence-based, integrative medical practices and aims to contribute to the global understanding of the mechanisms underlying TCM's efficacy in ENT disorders through her ongoing research and clinical practice.
